This is statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual and we will not collect personal information in this way.

Our Website platform (‘Wordpress’) utilises a cookie file which is stored on the hard drive of your computer. This forms an integral part of the platform which does not include tracking the user. However we may utilise ‘Google Analytics’ which creates a tracking cookie file and allows us to estimate our audience size and usage pattern.

You may refuse to accept cookies by activating the setting on your browser which allows you to refuse the setting of cookies. However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts of our site. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, our system will issue cookies when you access our site.

WHERE WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

The data that we collect from our ‘contact form’ is stored on our hosting server at www.compila.com. It may also be processed by staff responding to enquiries, as well as monitoring the ‘contact form’ functionality and for security issues, and kept for future reference.

The data collected in this way includes:

  • Date/Time of form submission: Created by system.
  • First Name: Created by user.
  • Last Name: Created by user.
  • Email: Created by user.
  • Subject: Created by user.
  • Message: Created by user.
  • Captcha Code: Generated randomly by system, entered by user, used to prove that contact form was completed by a human and not by an automated system.
  • IP address of user submitting form details: Captured by system.

By submitting your personal data, you agree to this storing and processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data being transmitted to our site from your own device and browser; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

USES MADE OF THE INFORMATION

We use information entered from our contact form and any survey questionnaires to provide a record of engagement as well as to provide information that will allow us to assess our content and approach from a charitable outcome point of view.
